Year: 1959 | Looking for a great looking Edsel? Well, here it is! This is a 1959 Edsel Corsair 4-door sedan in excellent condition. All numbers match with the Express V8 and Mile-o-matic 2-speed. Color is Jadeglint Majestic Green and white flares. The interior is light green and white with dark green carpet. All seats and carpet are in perfect condition with no scratches or tears. The gauges all work perfectly and are still in great shape. This car even has the original radio (it doesn't work but it is there). I recently had the transmission completely rebuilt along with the generator and carburetor. My latest addition has been dual exhaust, which sounds great on the car. I have looked and looked you will not find another car like this in this kind of condition. I just recently purchased another classic and have no room for it in the garage. Running car. The brakes are soft and it might need a left front wheel
cylinder. There is rust in the frame. The car has patch panels in it. Other
than that, there's just rust where cars normally rust.
It could be a great car with some care. |

Year: 1959 | I am the third owner. Car originally came out of Arizona. Current location is Evans, GA. Title in hand. Additional pics available. This is a great combination of properly maintained and refurbished-as-necessary original. It has 93,000 miles. The wagon was professionally repainted 10 years ago, done to high quality standard. No overspray anywhere. The chrome is in excellent condition. All stainless steel was polished. The rear bumper has been rechromed, along with the piece under the real tailgate. The front grill pickle was hand-painted to the correct color. The interior is in excellent condition. The original ribbed headliner is perfect. All three seats are original material and look outstanding. The first two rows of seats still have the vintage plastic coverings. The original red and black rubber floor mat is there as well. All the stainless and chrome piece of the dash are beautiful. The door panels are original and windlace was replaced. The engine compartment was detailed for show. This wagon is powered by the 361 engine. No power steering, no power brakes. 3-speed manual transmission (3 on the tree). Previous owner at 89000 miles rebuilt the engine in 2003. All engine related parts were rebuilt, including the generator, water pump, carb. New plugs, wires, hoses belts, etc. The exhaust in a dual system with mild glass packs that sound great. The Villager rides on new tires with polished American mags. The rear differential has new fluids and was resealed. The brakes have been completely redone. There is a nice set of gauges installed under the dash for oil, water, and volts. A tach was also installed on the steering column. These really give a nice nostalgic appearance. The audio system is a top of the line Custom Auto Sound system. No cutting of the dash for this install. All windows were tinted, primarily for looks but also to protect the original interior. The wagon drives really well, handles very well and is blast to drive and show. Right now the car needs nothing. This is one of the best wagons I have owned. However, my wife and I are ready to begin building a home and I need to raise some capital. I will keep my 59 sedan since this was my very first Edsel. Please contact me at donaldlav@yahoo.com |

Year: 1959 | Turquoise, white top, 78,000 miles, #2 condition This car was bought by my dad in Wisconsin in 2000. I don't know how many previous owners. It was mostly restored. Dad had both bumpers rechromed, windshield replaced and seats and door panels re-upholstered. There is a small hole on edge of top, near back side window. Also, a cut on driver side armrest. The side view mirrors are not original. This car has been driven on a car show tour in Indiana. I have driven this car to a few car shows. It may need a carburetor adjustment, as it seems to run rich. The generator light is on. The paint is average at best, but has no rust. Interior chrome has average pitting. Car has clean title, just needs your TLC. Reasonable offers will be considered.

I am assisting my father-in-law in selling this car.. I have watched the care and attention he has given this car since I met him in 1960. He has been an Edsel purest and proud owner of several really nice cars through the years, Edsels and others. This car, however, has been his pride and joy. It has been garaged for the majority of its life and for the last 15+/- years only driven to car shows, Edsel Owner events and other special occasions. While he rates the car as a Class 3 (not for show), it garnered the trophy for Best of Show - Station Wagon Class at a Las Vegas Event not too many years back. I drove the car last August to a park to take the attached pictures. It drove well but there is a noticeable exhaust leak at the manifold. Overall the car appears to be in good condition and certainly would be a Class 3 or higher vehicle.
The car is located in central Colorado. More pictures are available. Priced
quickly. |

Year: 1958 | Due to circumstances beyond our control we must sell albeit very reluctantly. This 1958 Edsel Citation 2-door hardtop with a newly rebuilt 410 V8 engine is beautiful to look at as well as a great driver. The black and white exterior is still very impressive as it has been parked inside since it's restoration a few years ago. The interior has been restored to factory original. The headliner is still original. There are many new and nos parts on the car as well as extra parts which are included. Manual is also included. Year: 1959 | This was my father's project before he passed away last year. I was hoping to finish it for him, but it doesnt look like I will be able to get to it any time soon. This car needs to go to someone who wants to devote the time needed. My father had a newly rebuilt 292 engine with a 312 head and a four barrel carburetor installed in 2001. He didnt drive it much, but kept it in his garage. The car starts easily and drives great. The driver side window is broken and doesn't roll up. I keep the car covered so rain doesnt get in. There is some rust in the trunk and minor rust the body, but nothing major. It also needs all new interior. This is a very solid car and I think it's perfect for restoration. There is an extra set of front and rear passenger doors and several pieces of replacement trim. I welcome any calls or email about this car and will try to answer everything the best I can. I hate to see this go, but it needs to belong to someone who really appreciates Edsels. Contact Steve Salisbury in Dothan, Alabama at salisburyclan@comcast.net or 334-685-2973 |

Year: 1959 | 332 V8, 2-speed Mile-O-Matic, PS, PB, 120,000 miles. Car completely gone through, all fluids flushed, belts, hoses, brakes inspected, bearing repacked, brake cylinders, new booster and master cylinder, new front and rear glass gaskets, new headliner, new carpet, new seats, new outside front door handles, new left side fender ornament, wires, plugs, cap etc. Both manifolds re-machined with new gaskets, dual exhaust. All lights work inside and out, radio and clock do not work. Speedometer just quit working after installing a new cable I think the plastic worm gear behind the dash is bad. Paint is decent and still shines, floor pans are solid except there is a hole by the passenger side kick panel. Gauges work except for the fuel gauge there is a dent in the gas tank. The previous owner backed over his kids bike causing the damage by the passenger's side rear wheel well. Also looks like they used bondo. There is bubbling on top of the fender wells and on the bottom of the doors. The tranny does shift hard from 1st to 2nd when cold once it warms up it is fine but I have noticed that sometimes it will slip into gear. The car does not always stay in park might just be the linkage but the emergency brake is real strong. The driver's side roll up window is cracked and there are scratches on the front windshield.&bsp; The trunk is locked closed we took the old lock out and brought it to a locksmith but he could not free it up so the only way to get into the trunk is through the back seat. The car drives real nice and I have enjoyed it all summer and had planned on completing the body work but divorce forces me to sell it. Car is located in Wisconsin. 225: (1959 Ranger 2-door hardtop, North Carolina) Removed on June 21, 2006
Year: 1958 | E475 V8. Pushbutton electric shift (disconnected but complete). Could easily be a “driver”, as it is mechanically sound and the body is solid, with no structural rust. The engine is very good; rebuilt/replaced shortly before being parked in early 1970’s. Needs master cylinder, exhaust, tires, ignition switch, a few bulbs and the interior re-installed. Looks rough as body filler from an old “restoration” is falling off; most covered dents, not rust. Doors essentially rust-free, except small hole in LR. Body fairly straight except for dent in RR door and above LR wheel. Floor solid except in front of driver footwell. Only “serious” rust is under headlights. For a “driver”, most of the interior could be re-used if cleaned and re-padded (mouse damage). Seats and door panels have been removed for cleaning/restoration. Headliner has small mouse hole at RF; might need to be removed to clean properly. Windshield has 3 “bulls-eyes” and a crack. Padded dash is uneven as foam has deteriorated, and there is one break in the vinyl. Most bright work should polish up OK, except grill “horse collar”, which is rusty. Fuel gauge missing. Also needs weather-stripping, taillight lenses, fender nameplates and courtesy light lenses. Extra steering column. Original keys.
Reluctant to sell but I have too many other projects, and don’t want to see this classic just
sit and deteriorate. Canadian model. Located near Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. |

1958 Edsel Corsair I must part with. Pictures can be viewed

I have owned since Oct 2002. The car is from Chicago, and I believe the mileage is original based on general overall condition of car. Ed runs, but suggest hauling versus driving. Tires bought new in 2003, transmission rebuilt in 2003.

This car is showing 57,000 miles and has a very solid body and frame. The mount that
the radiator sits in is rusted pretty bad under the overflow hose but that is all I know
of. I have had the car for almost 4 years and the motor was either new or rebuilt
when I got it, for it is not leaking oil and the motor has been painted but the gaskets are
clean. It had set for some time and I had to install a new carburetor and an electronic
ignition. The brakes have been completely gone through and I installed new tires. I
would not be worried about driving this car anywhere. This is not a perfect show car but is a good condition 3. The bumpers and some of the chrome need to be redone as do the plastic knobs. Also, someone has put on a clearcoat over the paint and it is peeling in a couple of places. It is very good driver and could be a good show car with some work.
I am asking $8500.00 and cannot consider much less. |
