Looking for a great looking Edsel?  Well, here it is!  This is a 1959 Edsel Corsair 4-door sedan in excellent condition.  All numbers match with the Express V8 and Mile-o-matic 2-speed.  Color is Jadeglint Majestic Green and white flares.  The interior is light green and white with dark green carpet.  All seats and carpet are in perfect condition with no scratches or tears.  The gauges all work perfectly and are still in great shape.  This car even has the original radio (it doesn't work but it is there).

I recently had the transmission completely rebuilt along with the generator and carburetor.  My latest addition has been dual exhaust, which sounds great on the car.  I have looked and looked you will not find another car like this in this kind of condition.  I just recently purchased another classic and have no room for it in the garage.

Solid Condition 2 car.  Very Rare factory color/trim combination of Horizon Blue and Snow White with a Red/white interior, which is to date the only known '58 Edsel hardtop or sedan with this patriotic color scheme!

72,844 miles.  Under 10,000 miles since a frame-off restoration.  Virtually rust-free.  Never in a wreck, flood or fire.  Always garaged.  Always maintained professionally.

Accessories include 303hp E-400, Teletouch automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, tachometer, radio, Dial-Temp heater/defroster (blows air on feet), Clock (not working), cigarette lighter and wipers (not connected), courtesy lights, backup lights.  Wide whitewall tires are a year old, barely used.  Hubcaps are color-coordinated and have spinners.  Carpetted interior/trunk/spare.
Glass is straight, as is the headliner and upholstery.  See photos.

Car is licensed and insured, and always has been in continuous operation.  Driven 5 miles/weekend to keep it rolling.  It's only had two homes - Florida and Texas.
It also has a very early production number (663) and is one of the oldest running Edsels in existence.  The car has won many awards at various competitions in its history including a trophy from the International Championship Auto Show.

A very nice car, located in Houston, TX.  Drive home or trailer.

Running car.  The brakes are soft and it might need a left front wheel cylinder.  There is rust in the frame.  The car has patch panels in it.  Other than that, there's just rust where cars normally rust.
It looks like it has the original interior (seat covers on it currently) and needs to be restored.  Original engine and transmission as far as I know.  V-8 2-barrel with automatic transmission.  The glass is intact except for a small ding in the windshield, passenger side.  It was damaged slightly when it was last shipped.  There's a "rub dent" on the hood, about where a hood ornament would be.

It could be a great car with some care.

I am the third owner.  Car originally came out of Arizona.  Current location is Evans, GA.  Title in hand.  Additional pics available.

This is a great combination of properly maintained and refurbished-as-necessary original.  It has 93,000 miles.  The wagon was professionally repainted 10 years ago, done to high quality standard.  No overspray anywhere.  The chrome is in excellent condition.  All stainless steel was polished.  The rear bumper has been rechromed, along with the piece under the real tailgate.  The front grill pickle was hand-painted to the correct color.

The interior is in excellent condition.  The original ribbed headliner is perfect.  All three seats are original material and look outstanding.  The first two rows of seats still have the vintage plastic coverings.  The original red and black rubber floor mat is there as well.  All the stainless and chrome piece of the dash are beautiful.  The door panels are original and windlace was replaced.

The engine compartment was detailed for show.  This wagon is powered by the 361 engine.  No power steering, no power brakes.  3-speed manual transmission (3 on the tree).  Previous owner at 89000 miles rebuilt the engine in 2003.  All engine related parts were rebuilt, including the generator, water pump, carb. New plugs, wires, hoses belts, etc.  The exhaust in a dual system with mild glass packs that sound great.  The Villager rides on new tires with polished American mags.  The rear differential has new fluids and was resealed.  The brakes have been completely redone.

There is a nice set of gauges installed under the dash for oil, water, and volts.  A tach was also installed on the steering column.  These really give a nice nostalgic appearance.  The audio system is a top of the line Custom Auto Sound system.  No cutting of the dash for this install.  All windows were tinted, primarily for looks but also to protect the original interior.

The wagon drives really well, handles very well and is blast to drive and show.  Right now the car needs nothing.  This is one of the best wagons I have owned.  However, my wife and I are ready to begin building a home and I need to raise some capital.  I will keep my 59 sedan since this was my very first Edsel.

The 2 door is complete but does not run.  Can be used for parts.  It has 76,132 miles.

Bought from a member of Edsel club about one year ago.  The 292 V8 was rebuilt just prior to my purchasing it.  Two-speed transmission just rebuilt with receipts.  Tank drained and cleaned, radiator done, brakes done.  Jet Stream Blue with White.  87,000 miles.  Runs and drives great.
Was repainted several years ago and some bubbles are starting to show through near the rockers.  New carpet.  Front seat has tear.  Overall a very great driver.

This one-owner barn fresh 1958 Edsel Citation 2-door convertible is 99.5% complete.  Original paint, heavily optioned.  70,566 original miles.  This car would be an easy restore, it is pretty solid.  All glass is intact.  All chrome is there and in very restorable shape, needs a good polishing.  Pushbutton transmission.  Interior is the roughest part since it has been sitting with the top and windows down.  The car has been stored in a garage for the last 18 years, since my grandfather passed away, but it was on the road in 1990.  Located in northern New Jersey, about 25 minutes outside of New York City.

Car still needs some work.  New paint, needs interior, replaced rear main seal and gasket, replaced brake lines, front left wheel cyclinder, adjusted air brakes.  Replaced oil pump, starter, exhaust.  Motor was reworked on 6-13-03.  Has small leak.  Runs a little rough.  Carb needs to be rebuilt.
All molding is there except for the Edsel letters on the rear back sides of the car.  No hood ornament.  Needs a little TLC.  And a gas tank, there's a temporary one in the trunk.

Turquoise, white top, 78,000 miles, #2 condition

This car was bought by my dad in Wisconsin in 2000.  I don't know how many previous owners.  It was mostly restored.  Dad had both bumpers rechromed, windshield replaced and seats and door panels re-upholstered.  There is a small hole on edge of top, near back side window.  Also, a cut on driver side armrest.  The side view mirrors are not original.  This car has been driven on a car show tour in Indiana.  I have driven this car to a few car shows.  It may need a carburetor adjustment, as it seems to run rich.  The generator light is on.  The paint is average at best, but has no rust.  Interior chrome has average pitting.  Car has clean title, just needs your TLC.  Reasonable offers will be considered.

Still owned by the original owner who purchased it off the showroom floor in Roswell, NM.  It has a 361 Super Express V8 with 160,000 miles.  The engine was completely rebuilt at 100,000 miles.  Still has the original headliner but the upholstery (carpet, panels and seats) have been replaced as close as possible to original.  Repainted to original Black and White, the car has original wheel covers, 4 whitewall radials w/spare and after-market "hang-on" AC.

I am assisting my father-in-law in selling this car.. I have watched the care and attention he has given this car since I met him in 1960.  He has been an Edsel purest and proud owner of several really nice cars through the years, Edsels and others.  This car, however, has been his pride and joy.  It has been garaged for the majority of its life and for the last 15+/- years only driven to car shows, Edsel Owner events and other special occasions.  While he rates the car as a Class 3 (not for show), it garnered the trophy for Best of Show - Station Wagon Class at a Las Vegas Event not too many years back.  I drove the car last August to a park to take the attached pictures.  It drove well but there is a noticeable exhaust leak at the manifold.  Overall the car appears to be in good condition and certainly would be a Class 3 or higher vehicle.

The car is located in central Colorado.  More pictures are available.  Priced quickly.

Due to circumstances beyond our control we must sell albeit very reluctantly.  This 1958 Edsel Citation 2-door hardtop with a newly rebuilt 410 V8 engine is beautiful to look at as well as a great driver.  The black and white exterior is still very impressive as it has been parked inside since it's restoration a few years ago.  The interior has been restored to factory original.  The headliner is still original.  There are many new and nos parts on the car as well as extra parts which are included.  Manual is also included.  The Teletouch and aftermarket gages are in excellent condition.  This car is a real head turner.  We would like to see it go to someone who will love it as much as us.

292 V-8, automatic transmission.  Manual brakes and steering.  Runs and drives well, with many new parts either rebuilt or replaced including: upper & lower ball joints, tie rod ends, front wheel bearings, front shocks, brake system completely redone, new rear leaf springs, fuel pump rebuilt, new carb.  Has approximately 106,500 miles on it.  No missing trim pieces - everything complete.  There is a hole in the rear bumper near tailpipe and there is some rust through in the front floor pan on the driver’s and passenger’s side (silver-dollar sized).  Car does need some body work to fix previous bad paint job and amateur body repair.  Interior is in good shape with everything intact and no holes in the upholstery.

Need to sell because I don’t have a good place to store it and I hate seeing it sit outside for very long!

This was my grandmother’s car.  Professionally rebuilt 292 V8 and rebuilt 2-speed Mile-O-Matic, 2000 miles on rebuilds, 123,633 miles odometer.  Complete engine compartment redo.  New radiator, rebuilt starter, rebuilt generator, rebuilt distributor with new cap and rotor, new dual vacuum fuel pump, all fluids flushed, belts, hoses, brakes replaced, bearing repacked, new brake cylinders, shoes and master cylinder, non-working vacuum wiper motor, new front and rear shock absorbers, original wiring harness, brand new “EDSEL” logo battery (sealed), replaced idle arms, bushings and front end inspection.  NOS tint and shaded windshield, all windows good and operational.  Fuel tank was removed, tested, and internal epoxy coated, gaskets replaced on sending unit, new tank cap.  Recent exterior two-tone paint, original Jet Stream Blue with Snow White roof and side panels, Edsel logo side mirror.  Re-painted interior, computer matched dark metallic blue dash.  Dash chrome parts re-chromed, non-operating original radio, rebuilt heater core and heater box, new interior courtesy light.  Original blue horse collar cloth and vinyl on standard bench seats.  The rear seat is in good condition but the front seat needs reupholstering, the headliner needs replacing and it needs new carpet.  The door panels are in good condition though a bit faded.  Wind lash and window rubber needs replacement.  All lights work inside and out.  Two sets of stainless Edsel wheel covers; many extra parts in the trunk along with the spare tire and jack.  The car drives nice and is very solid.  It is time for someone else to enjoy the car.

My father had a newly rebuilt 292 engine with a 312 head and a four barrel carburetor installed in 2001.  He didnt drive it much, but kept it in his garage.  The car starts easily and drives great.  The driver side window is broken and doesn't roll up.  I keep the car covered so rain doesnt get in.  There is some rust in the trunk and minor rust the body, but nothing major.  It also needs all new interior.

This is a very solid car and I think it's perfect for restoration.  There is an extra set of front and rear passenger doors and several pieces of replacement trim.  I welcome any calls or email about this car and will try to answer everything the best I can.  I hate to see this go, but it needs to belong to someone who really appreciates Edsels.

332 V8, 2-speed Mile-O-Matic, PS, PB, 120,000 miles.  Car completely gone through, all fluids flushed, belts, hoses, brakes inspected, bearing repacked, brake cylinders, new booster and master cylinder, new front and rear glass gaskets, new headliner, new carpet, new seats, new outside front door handles, new left side fender ornament, wires, plugs, cap etc.  Both manifolds re-machined with new gaskets, dual exhaust.  All lights work inside and out, radio and clock do not work.  Speedometer just quit working after installing a new cable I think the plastic worm gear behind the dash is bad.  Paint is decent and still shines, floor pans are solid except there is a hole by the passenger side kick panel.  Gauges work except for the fuel gauge there is a dent in the gas tank.  The previous owner backed over his kids bike causing the damage by the passenger's side rear wheel well.  Also looks like they used bondo.  There is bubbling on top of the fender wells and on the bottom of the doors.  The tranny does shift hard from 1st to 2nd when cold once it warms up it is fine but I have noticed that sometimes it will slip into gear.  The car does not always stay in park might just be the linkage but the emergency brake is real strong.  The driver's side roll up window is cracked and there are scratches on the front windshield.&bsp; The trunk is locked closed we took the old lock out and brought it to a locksmith but he could not free it up so the only way to get into the trunk is through the back seat.  The car drives real nice and I have enjoyed it all summer and had planned on completing the body work but divorce forces me to sell it.

Good condition.  Ice green with white scallop, teal green and white interior - vinyl seats and headliner in amazing condition but decayed foam in some places.  Dark green dashboard with only minor aging of chrome details.  Teletouch replaced by steering-column shift by previous owner.  Exterior has minor rusting along undersides/roof "gutters" and bumpers.  Original Edsel hubcaps with whitewall tires.  Cracks in driver's side window - all others in excellent condition.

Mileage - approx. 44,000!  Young engine.  Entire ignition system, radiator, battery replaced last year.  Complete "medical" records available upon request.

I'm reluctant to end this 7 year love affair with this car, but the time has come for this starving student to find someone who can give her the TLC she deserves.  Located in Los Angeles/Hollywood area, contact Angela Carvalho at 213-804-0348 or email stationdragon@yahoo.com.

E475 V8.  Pushbutton electric shift (disconnected but complete).  Could easily be a “driver”, as it is mechanically sound and the body is solid, with no structural rust.  The engine is very good; rebuilt/replaced shortly before being parked in early 1970’s.  Needs master cylinder, exhaust, tires, ignition switch, a few bulbs and the interior re-installed.  Looks rough as body filler from an old “restoration” is falling off; most covered dents, not rust.  Doors essentially rust-free, except small hole in LR.  Body fairly straight except for dent in RR door and above LR wheel.  Floor solid except in front of driver footwell.  Only “serious” rust is under headlights.  For a “driver”, most of the interior could be re-used if cleaned and re-padded (mouse damage).  Seats and door panels have been removed for cleaning/restoration.  Headliner has small mouse hole at RF; might need to be removed to clean properly.  Windshield has 3 “bulls-eyes” and a crack.  Padded dash is uneven as foam has deteriorated, and there is one break in the vinyl.  Most bright work should polish up OK, except grill “horse collar”, which is rusty.  Fuel gauge missing.  Also needs weather-stripping, taillight lenses, fender nameplates and courtesy light lenses.  Extra steering column.  Original keys.

Reluctant to sell but I have too many other projects, and don’t want to see this classic just sit and deteriorate.  Canadian model.  Located near Brandon, Manitoba, Canada.

This car is the first of three Edsels for sale from the collection of Edsel Henry Ford, the co-founder of the Edsel Owners Club.

Around 50,000 miles, Ice Green and Spruce Green color combination, rebuilt engine runs well.  Real nice looking car.  Painted prior to 1970.  NOS shifter (but it's tempermental when hot - shifts fine once it cools again after use).  Original floor mat, seats (covered in clear plastic), have another set of opaque seat covers.  In-trunk air conditioning system, wide white wall radials Coker tires with only a few hundred miles on them.  Needs an emergency brake cable, and a Teletouch relay.

This Ranger was purchased by my father-in-law in 1970 on a lark.  He drove it for a while and then put it in a barn for 32 years.  He gave it to our son when he turned 16 and we worked on it as a family project.
It has Teletouch transmission, all the dash components (compass is not installed) and all the chrome with the exception of the hood ornament.  Driver side window glass is cracked, it was replaced, but cracked again.  Body is in good condition for the most part, couple a of minor dents, rear floor panel had a hole that has been fixed with a fiberglass patch kit.  The exterior has a new paint job, mint green and white.  Seats have been recovered using the original seat covers as a pattern, new headliner and carpet.  Engine runs and it was driven daily by our son to school for about a year after all the work on it was done.  It has been sitting in the driveway, canvas covered for 2 years, since the boy went to college.
We have a great set of 1958 Texas license plates for the car.  The battery will lose charge if not driven every couple of days, we have tried to figure out what is draining the charge but haven't found it yet.  We have installed a radio/cd player that is hidden behind the factory blank cover that was used to fill the space.  Additional photos available.  The car is located in Austin, Texas.

I have owned since Oct 2002.  The car is from Chicago, and I believe the mileage is original based on general overall condition of car.  Ed runs, but suggest hauling versus driving.  Tires bought new in 2003, transmission rebuilt in 2003.

This is my late uncle’s car and I want this to go to a good and loving home for a mutually fair price.
I didn't get to check the mileage, however, I'm remembering around 140,000 and I think those are total miles.  My uncle bought this Edsel used but I think those are total life miles.
The car is running fine.  I've had a couple mechanics check it out and the only need was a replacement of the master brake cylinder which I've done.  The exterior is in very good condition, and the interior shows normal wear and tear for the age but is generally in good condition.  I think the tires are fairly new.  I also have an extra unfinished door and some small parts along with a couple of Edsel [green] jackets, a show trophy, and some other Edsel memorabilia.

1959 Edsel Villager customized wagon for sale.
This was going to be our customized beach cruiser for our home in Florida, however we need the money to finish our renovations on our home so...
This car has had the original engine & transmission rebuilt (v8, automatic), new brakes, 4 new Coker WWW radial tires and 4 new smoothy chrome rims inside the car ready to mount.

The paint/bodywork is less than 2 months old.  It is a custom pearl coral color with the trim holes professionally leaded.  1959 Cadillac tail lamp units are available to go on the back.  The car started out as a rust free Southern California car and is now in Atlanta, Georgia.

Mechanically it is all done, and the body/paint is all done, however the interior and minor detailing were all that was left to do.
Lost interest, need funds to finish renovating our Florida beach home.

6 cylinder, VIN code G.  It is currently garaged in Upstate NY.  The car originates from California and is in very good condition.  Needs a little tidying up - ignition key barrel, one torn seat, etc., but it starts well and drives great.  Bodywork is in very good condition, see photo.
I am now living and working in the UK, but get to NY very frequently.

The car runs well, but will overheat if driven too far (I believe it needs a new water pump).  It has a rust spot about 2" in diameter behind each front tire at the bottom of the front fenders.  There are no dents or scratches on the body and all the chrome and moldings are in good shape.  Tow bar on the front can be easily taken off, or can include with the car if you want.  The 3-speed automatic Trans and rear end are in good shape.  Engine was rebuilt less than 10,000 miles ago and is the big V-8 (361 cid?).  All windows are good except the driver's side has a couple cracks in it.  The splines on the driver's side window knob are stripped, as are the gears on the shaft that the knob goes on.  The paint is oxidized, but should polish up pretty good.  The driver's seat has a couple rips on the botton part.  The rest of the seats look OK and headliner is good.  The dash pad needs replacing or you could just paint the dash.  It has the stock AM push button radio.  The car has after-market air-conditioning that was installed by the dealer.  It works really well, but it has a slow leak and doesn't stay charged more than about a week.  Power brakes work, but I think there is a leak in the vacuum accumulator.  They would work much better if that was fixed.
I have the horn ring (missing in the photos).  The ears on the plastic piece that holds it on just broke last week.
Car has the original full wheel hubcaps and they are in good shape.  I have a set of original keys that I don't use, in order to keep them in good shape.  I also have the original window sticker that came on the car when it was new.  My dad bought the car new at an Edsel Dealer in Fontana, California and just gave it to me about a dozen years ago.  The car is located in Rancho Cucamonga, California (about 5 miles north of the Ontario Airport).  It is an above average Class 4.

The engine, starter, generator, carb, etc. are all original, except air filter.  It has rare factory options power brakes, power steering & windshield washer.  It has a little rust on rocker panels, on bottom of one front fender and a little on rear fender.  All chrome, badges, emblems, etc. is in very good with nothing missing.  I have one set of keys.
Everything, hood, trunk, windows (all glass orig FoMoCo), doors, etc. opens/closes, rolls up/down and are in very good condition.  Interior is very good and the seats have seat covers, (I took the rear one off), roof liner and door panels are in excellent condition.  Dashboard is very good, complete with all knobs, radio, clock, heater, glove compartment, etc. and rugs are original.  Have an extra grill and lens.  Never been in accident.

This Edsel is in Peoria IL, and it was purchased 40 miles from here at the (dealer decal still on car's trunk, see photo), Galesburg Lincoln Mercury Dealer, 120 North Broad Street, Galesburg, Illinois 61401.
The car has been sitting since 1999.  It belonged to an old lady in Peoria, who fell ill and last used it in that year.  It was always parked in the barn.  The last time car ran was in 1999 when lady’s nephew used it.  Then it went to estate sales, a local bought it and then storage.  I bought it 2 years ago & garaged.  Engine spins, but this car should be towed or trailer-ed.  I don’t have time and wife needs garage.  I have described this car to the best of my abilities.  I am not a mechanic and have not touched the car other than it being trailered to my garage.

This car is showing 57,000 miles and has a very solid body and frame.  The mount that the radiator sits in is rusted pretty bad under the overflow hose but that is all I know of.  I have had the car for almost 4 years and the motor was either new or rebuilt when I got it, for it is not leaking oil and the motor has been painted but the gaskets are clean.  It had set for some time and I had to install a new carburetor and an electronic ignition.  The brakes have been completely gone through and I installed new tires.  I would not be worried about driving this car anywhere.
It has a two-speed automatic and it works great.  I don't know if it is rebuilt or not.  The seat covers have been replaced with aftermarket material but are in excellent condition.  The original radio works, but not real good.  Pictures are included.

This is not a perfect show car but is a good condition 3.  The bumpers and some of the chrome need to be redone as do the plastic knobs.  Also, someone has put on a clearcoat over the paint and it is peeling in a couple of places.  It is very good driver and could be a good show car with some work.

I am asking $8500.00 and cannot consider much less.
