This one-owner barn fresh 1958 Edsel Citation 2-door convertible is 99.5% complete.  Original paint, heavily optioned.  70,566 original miles.  This car would be an easy restore, it is pretty solid.  All glass is intact.  All chrome is there and in very restorable shape, needs a good polishing.  Pushbutton transmission.  Interior is the roughest part since it has been sitting with the top and windows down.  The car has been stored in a garage for the last 18 years, since my grandfather passed away, but it was on the road in 1990.  Located in northern New Jersey, about 25 minutes outside of New York City.

Six cylinder, 3-speed manual.  All the glass is good except the drivers window is cracked.  Has electric bench seat.  The front bumper is in the trunk and maybe the missing grill pieces.  I have not been able to get the trunk open.  All the other trim is there.  The rear bumper is bent.  Quarters and rockers are rusted out.  The car has a clear Iowa title.  It has been sitting for about 12 years.

Located in northeast Iowa near Wadena.  I'm selling the car for my brother.  He's been told it's worth $1200.  He will take $1200 or best offer.

Still owned by the original owner who purchased it off the showroom floor in Roswell, NM.  It has a 361 Super Express V8 with 160,000 miles.  The engine was completely rebuilt at 100,000 miles.  Still has the original headliner but the upholstery (carpet, panels and seats) have been replaced as close as possible to original.  Repainted to original Black and White, the car has original wheel covers, 4 whitewall radials w/spare and after-market "hang-on" AC.

I am assisting my father-in-law in selling this car.. I have watched the care and attention he has given this car since I met him in 1960.  He has been an Edsel purest and proud owner of several really nice cars through the years, Edsels and others.  This car, however, has been his pride and joy.  It has been garaged for the majority of its life and for the last 15+/- years only driven to car shows, Edsel Owner events and other special occasions.  While he rates the car as a Class 3 (not for show), it garnered the trophy for Best of Show - Station Wagon Class at a Las Vegas Event not too many years back.  I drove the car last August to a park to take the attached pictures.  It drove well but there is a noticeable exhaust leak at the manifold.  Overall the car appears to be in good condition and certainly would be a Class 3 or higher vehicle.

The car is located in central Colorado.  More pictures are available.  Priced quickly.

Due to circumstances beyond our control we must sell albeit very reluctantly.  This 1958 Edsel Citation 2-door hardtop with a newly rebuilt 410 V8 engine is beautiful to look at as well as a great driver.  The black and white exterior is still very impressive as it has been parked inside since it's restoration a few years ago.  The interior has been restored to factory original.  The headliner is still original.  There are many new and nos parts on the car as well as extra parts which are included.  Manual is also included.  The Teletouch and aftermarket gages are in excellent condition.  This car is a real head turner.  We would like to see it go to someone who will love it as much as us.

99% complete with good rear and front windshield.  The chrome is in good condition and the body has minimal rust.  The vehicle does not run.  It has the six cylinder engine as well as the three speed manual transmission.  I am asking $1000 or best offer.

This vehicle is restorable and has title, however it has not been registered for years.  The Ranger is located in San Antonio, Texas and can be delivered within 200 miles.  Will consider some trades.

292 V-8, automatic transmission.  Manual brakes and steering.  Runs and drives well, with many new parts either rebuilt or replaced including: upper & lower ball joints, tie rod ends, front wheel bearings, front shocks, brake system completely redone, new rear leaf springs, fuel pump rebuilt, new carb.  Has approximately 106,500 miles on it.  No missing trim pieces - everything complete.  There is a hole in the rear bumper near tailpipe and there is some rust through in the front floor pan on the driver’s and passenger’s side (silver-dollar sized).  Car does need some body work to fix previous bad paint job and amateur body repair.  Interior is in good shape with everything intact and no holes in the upholstery.

Need to sell because I don’t have a good place to store it and I hate seeing it sit outside for very long!

This was my grandmother’s car.  Professionally rebuilt 292 V8 and rebuilt 2-speed Mile-O-Matic, 2000 miles on rebuilds, 123,633 miles odometer.  Complete engine compartment redo.  New radiator, rebuilt starter, rebuilt generator, rebuilt distributor with new cap and rotor, new dual vacuum fuel pump, all fluids flushed, belts, hoses, brakes replaced, bearing repacked, new brake cylinders, shoes and master cylinder, non-working vacuum wiper motor, new front and rear shock absorbers, original wiring harness, brand new “EDSEL” logo battery (sealed), replaced idle arms, bushings and front end inspection.  NOS tint and shaded windshield, all windows good and operational.  Fuel tank was removed, tested, and internal epoxy coated, gaskets replaced on sending unit, new tank cap.  Recent exterior two-tone paint, original Jet Stream Blue with Snow White roof and side panels, Edsel logo side mirror.  Re-painted interior, computer matched dark metallic blue dash.  Dash chrome parts re-chromed, non-operating original radio, rebuilt heater core and heater box, new interior courtesy light.  Original blue horse collar cloth and vinyl on standard bench seats.  The rear seat is in good condition but the front seat needs reupholstering, the headliner needs replacing and it needs new carpet.  The door panels are in good condition though a bit faded.  Wind lash and window rubber needs replacement.  All lights work inside and out.  Two sets of stainless Edsel wheel covers; many extra parts in the trunk along with the spare tire and jack.  The car drives nice and is very solid.  It is time for someone else to enjoy the car.

This was my father's project before he passed away last year.  I was hoping to finish it for him, but it doesnt look like I will be able to get to it any time soon.  This car needs to go to someone who wants to devote the time needed.

My father had a newly rebuilt 292 engine with a 312 head and a four barrel carburetor installed in 2001.  He didnt drive it much, but kept it in his garage.  The car starts easily and drives great.  The driver side window is broken and doesn't roll up.  I keep the car covered so rain doesnt get in.  There is some rust in the trunk and minor rust the body, but nothing major.  It also needs all new interior.

This is a very solid car and I think it's perfect for restoration.  There is an extra set of front and rear passenger doors and several pieces of replacement trim.  I welcome any calls or email about this car and will try to answer everything the best I can.  I hate to see this go, but it needs to belong to someone who really appreciates Edsels.

Car is complete with exception of P/S pump and hoses.  Pictures on request.  Price is $1500.00 and it's firm.  Scammers don't waste your time or mine.
