January 2002 mileage: 162,800

I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle.  The original owners had the car in storage from the '70's through the mid '80's.  The original mileage is 163,000, of which about 10,000 has been driven since a complete rebuild of the engine and transmission.

The tri-tone exterior color scheme is now Chalk Pink, Frost White and Black (originally Charcoal Brown Metallic).  The car was completely stripped and repainted in 2000.  I used original paint chips to accurately match the original colors.  The interior is mostly original.  The headliner and seat fabric is original with the exception of the pink leather portions of the seats which was reupholstered in the 1980's.

Currently registered with year-of-manufacture '58 yellow-on-black California plates.
Engine: 413 cid (410 prior to engine rebuild).  Rebuilt in 1999.
Currently I am using a manual bypass gear shifter because the electronics of the Teletouch is rather tempermental, and after 2 years of fighting with it, I just gave up.  It's simple to reconnect it, the parts are all currently installed on the car and functioning the last time I connected it.  The AC compressor is also missing, the power seat motor is not connected and may be missing hardware.

New mufflers and piping was recently installed, as were dual rear deck antennae.
New paint and tires, all trim pieces are original (scripts are rare early-production aluminum instead of chrome), trim pieces are intact and in good shape.  The chrome bumpers are perfect with the exception of the front driver side bumper which has some tarnishing.  The car is mechanically sound and only needs some minor cosmetic touchups.  The body is solid with absolutely no dents.  There are a few spots of rust which eventually need attention.  One is a quarter-size on the lower passenger side door (the paint covers the spot and there is no discoloration).  The other spot is on the hood near the horse collar grill.
