This gorgeous pink 1959 Edsel represents the history of the Ford Motor Company's Somerville Assembly plant that produced big-series Edsels from July 1958 through March 1959.  The Row Hotel is located at the site of the former Edsel assembly plant, and the history of Assembly Row is featured all across the community, from car production photos in restaurants to stylized murals, to three predominant original support beams from the line.  But most impressive is this Edsel, which can often be seen parked in front of the world-class Row Hotel in Somerville, MA.

This Edsel was also in attendance at the Assembly Row groundbreaking ceremony on April 30, 2012, as members of the New England Edsel club were invited to bring their cars to the event.

The car runs great and is very solid.  It is a nice low mileage Pink Edsel.  The car does run, shift and brake.  It does need some mechanical and body work.  Rear bumper was replated.

2016: Replaced the interior upholstery with Edsel-correct cloth and vinyl from SMS.
