Notes:
The engine and transmission were no good when I bought the car so I replaced it
with a 1966 Ford 390 V-8 and 2-speed automatic. The car has been sitting for a
number of years in a shed. The person I bought the car from had not driven
it in 18 years. The last time it was parked was when the engine had blown up,
and just before the engine went, the transmission was slipping real bad.
When I read about the Edsel in the paper it said "moving must sell, 1959 Edsel,
sat many years, engine/trans no good, body straight, needs paint, some
interior work required, asking $400.00, Original classic few parts missing."
